Tolmin and the Soca Valley is the home of beautiful rivers, lakes and mountains, where visitors come to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. In addition to the outdoor activities, Tolmin is also the home of many fesitvals, such as Metal Fest - Tolminator, Punk Rock, Butik, FrikaFest (Cheese) and many more.

- Hiking and walking (Juliana trail), with many famous walking trails in and around the national Triglav park.
@ Most na Soci Train
1. You can take the open top car train to run through the longest Slovenian rail tunnel, the Bohinj tunnel, connecting Upper Carniola in the North of Slovenia with the seaside Littoral in the South West. - a unique and enjoyable journey, offering stunning views as you drive throuigh the mountains whilst you remain in your car.potniski.sz.si/en/plan-your-journey/motorail/ You can also take the train a little further to Lake Bled. You can also travel as a foot passenger.
2. You can take the train to Nova Gorica, again stunning views as you travel through the mountains and some of the small villages on route, such as picturesque Kanal, Plave.. Once in Nova Gorica, a large city in Slovenia, and walk 2km across the Italian border to Gorizia, where you will have an abundance of lovely restaurants, and many shops.
@ Kozjak Waterfall
Not far from Kobarid, there is the 15-metre-high Kozjak Waterfall. The waterfall is known as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Slovenia, as it is hidden from the everyday world by a gorge with tall cave-like walls.
@ Tolmin Gorges
The Tolmin Gorges are the common name for the gorges of the Tolminka and Zadlaščica rivers and the lowest point of the Triglav National Park.
Attractions: the Bear’s Head rock, the Devil’s bridge, Dante’s cave
